Caturmasya Seva
Select Your Seva
Historical Background
Caturmasya is the four-month period (July to October) during the rainy season when Lord Vishnu is said to sleep (Yoga-nidra). Devotees observe various vows during this period — such as avoiding certain foods — as an austerity to please the Lord. This tradition is followed by all Vaishnavas.
Spiritual Significance
Observing Caturmasya vows helps control the senses and deepen one's spiritual practice. Each month has specific observances that purify different aspects of one's life and bring one closer to Krishna.
Blessings & Benefits
Sponsoring Caturmasya observances supports devotees in their vows. Donors receive the spiritual benefits of the austerities performed and the Lord's special blessings during this sacred period.
Our Sacred Promise
