A descriptive analysis of Vaikuntha, the spiritual realm of the Supreme Lord, highlighting the key spiritual freedoms experienced by its residents.
Freedom from Painful Impediments & Material Desire
In the Kingdom of God, there is no hunger, thirst, birth, death, old age, or disease. Thus, without these sufferings that draw our consciousness in the material world, keeping us absorbed in sorting out problems of life, one can simply focus on the service of the Supreme Lord without any impediments.
The Vaikuntha residents, while traveling in their airplanes, condemn the fragrance of Madhavi flowers in ponds, indicating that they don't care for insignificant sense gratification in comparison to the joy they derive from the Lord's service. The only desire they have is eternal loving service.

Freedom from opposite Sex Attraction & Envy
Sex life is eulogized as the ultimate pleasure in the material world. In the Kingdom of God, though Vaikuntha men and women are extraordinarily beautiful, they have no attraction for sex life due to their deep attraction for the Lord's service. This is a great hope to aspire for a sadhaka.
Furthermore, the material world is characterized by envy and cut-throat competition. In Vaikuntha, all living beings joyfully serve the Supreme Lord without any envy for Him, and without any malice for special living entities like Srimati Tulasi Devi or the bumblebee who attract the Lord's special mercy. Vaikuntha gives us hope for a healthy heart devoid of envy.

Easy Benedictions and Absence of False Prestige
In Vaikuntha, one gets an airplane made of Lapis Lazuli simply by bowing down to the Lord once! There are kalpa-vriksha desire trees in the spiritual world which provide anything one may desire to engage in the Lord's service.
Also, there are no prestige or status issues. Even the beautiful goddess Laxmi, dressed in costly garments, engages in sweeping the marble floors of the temple while twirling a lotus in her other hand, just to please Lord Vishnu. This freedom from false prestige renders our minds free of the burden of wanting respect from others, allowing us to remain happy, joyful, and peaceful.
